Santa Barbara Pride Week gets off to a great start with lots more to come!
The 2016 Santa Barbara Pride Week is off to a great start, with so many community members out in force to celebrate! The week's activities kicked off in Ojai with the annual Gay Men's Pot Luck & Pool Party, and then a VIP invitation-only reception in Montecito at the home of Jodi and Johnny Goldberg. On Sunday the 20th the fun continued with an all-girl gathering at Telegraph Brewing, and then the monthly Sunset at the Canary gathering for all LGBTQ took place on Wednesday the 24th (a date-change from the previously announced date of 8/10).
Still to come is the pre-Festival Mixer which will be held on Friday the 26th at 8pm at the Bobcat Lounge, and then Great Outdoors will hold a celebratory hike/walk on Saturday morning 8/27, culminating at Chase Palm Park, site of the 2016 Pride Festival which kicks off at 1130 am and runs until 7pm.
The After-Festival Party will be held at Tonic Nightclub on State Street starting at 9pm, and the ever-so-popular Drag Show Brunch will cap off an event-filled week on Sunday the 28th at SoHo.
And last but certainly not least will be the inaugural Rainbow Happy Hour on Tuesday the 30th from 530-730 at a location which will be announced exclusively to subscribers to our newsletter here, or who follow us on Facebook (RainbowHappyHourSB). $1 of every drink sold that evening will go toward funding the awesome work that the Pacific Pride Foundation does year round, and especially during this wonderful time of Pride Week in Santa Barbara.
